TENZA, a.s. was established in 1993 as a Ltd. company. The following years brought dynamic growth, and the company developed into a supplier of top-class technologies and investment projects in the area of power and heating engineering. The company was transformed into a joint-stock company in 1999. In 2000 TENZA, a.s. obtained an ISO 9001 quality management certificate. Since 2004 the company has implemented the environmental management system  (EMS) in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.

TENZA, a.s. shows steady growing revenues with a favourable tendency of development of trading income. In 2006 the company turnover amounted to 1029 million CZK. Foundry plant Adamov is the company's relatively new acquisition. Foundry plant TENZA in Adamov is a commercial producer of  zinc alloys castings made on the basis of die casting technology. The company is a supplier to many important companies from the field of automotive, electrical, textile, and armament industry.
